I offer private instruction in yoga, flexibility training, and dance. Each session will be focused on growing physically and mentally together towards your personal goals! Yoga Lessons

I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, with training and experience in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Gentle Yoga. My education was thorough and rooted in theory and tradition. Since graduating my program, I have been teaching consistently at various yoga studios and institutions for over three years.

Why take private yoga? Private yoga is excellent for getting one-on-one instruction on alignment and movement that you wouldn’t get in a larger class. It can also mean that you get sessions tailored to your own goals and needs at this point in your life, whether they be physical, mental, or spiritual. Anybody can benefit from yoga, but a few people who may especially benefit from my specific training and skillset as a teacher are:

-those just trying yoga for the first time who want to learn basic alignment and asanas

-former or current athletes, especially dancers, who want to use yoga as a form of cross training

-kids! I am very experienced teaching younger students and love to create engaging and creative lesson plans for children

-those with goals of spiritual growth in mind, including but not limited to: building confidence, finding peace in the moment, grounding themselves, and connecting to their sacred heart chakra energy

Dance Lessons

I am an extremely experienced ballet and contemporary dance instructor for all ages. As a professional ballerina and a graduate of the University of Utah’s prestigious Ballet BFA program, I am uniquely qualified to bestow upon my students comprehensive knowledge of technique and artistry, as well as professionalism, positivity, and determination. My teaching often calls to back my Vaganova roots, but I make use a mix of different ballet styles that are prevalent in today’s current dance world to train my students for whatever they wish to accomplish in their careers.

I strongly believe that dance is an art form first, and is meant to nurture the human soul. This means that I will treat every student, regardless of skill level, as a human first. My lessons are filled with gentle encouragement and tailored to the needs of each individual. Whether you need a solo cleaned, are looking to shore up your ballet technique, or are trying to engage deeper with more contemporary choreography, I am here to help you reach your goals in a challenging but uplifting environment.

Assisted Stretching

I am a certified Flexologist, or stretching expert, and greatly enjoy providing quality client care through personalized flexibility training. I bring my knowledge of both yoga and dance to provide clients with one-on-one assisted stretching programs designed to help them improve flexibility, heal chronic pain, perform higher athletically, prevent adverse effects of injury and aging, and lead higher quality lives.

Stretching is so important for overall health and longevity. More and more research is coming out that outlines just how vital maintaining a flexibility program is for staying mobile and injury-free. My assisted stretching practice incorporates the most current research on active stretching techniques to improve flexibility in a safe and effective way. Each program I create is designed with the client’s personal goals and bodies in mind. I will hold you accountable and keep you supported every step of the way on your flexibility journey! Communication and client comfortability is of upmost importance to me.
